One of our most significant internal initiatives recently was to review and renew our Core Values and Mission statements to accurately reflect our company values as we have grown. This was an important initiative taken on by a task force of team members from all areas of our company who, over the course of months, scrutinized each component of these statements as they were previously written and rewrote them to capture the true essence of Lawrence Merchandising; who we are, what we do, and how we deliver services to our clients and the retailers we service.
The results were extraordinary. Not only did the team identify the key aspects of how we successfully operate and translate them into fundamentals that are easy for any of our 2500+ employees to recognize and remember, they were able to do so in a way that was…well, FUN. We had a great time introducing the renewed company philosophy to our team members and took that opportunity to carry the excitement through to each of the services and projects that have come our way since then. What was once our Core Values statement has now become a mantra for our team, appropriately entitled Our Culture- Fundamentals For Success. We have positioned these values as instrumental to our success and firmly believe that they play an integral role in making our company a great place to work, and that being a great place to work results in happy and satisfied employees. Our culture means pride and ownership are translated to the job to ensure superior service with each service call we successfully execute on our clients behalf.
Our message to our clients is outlined in our Mission and Vision statements and the Core Values that are the cornerstone of our business and work ethic. The enthusiasm generated by the initiative was not necessarily new to the company, just something that needed to be revived.
